ABOUT 

In the process of building my own personal brand, voice, audience and corner.

A highly motivated and enthusiastic professional , with excellently broad knowledge and experience in theory and application of corporate communication and brand communication. I am currently studying towards my Honours in Strategic Brand Communication at Vega, where I focus on  strategic brand ideas, brand touchpoints, stakeholder journey maps, media strategy and many more . Self-directed and driven communicator that thrives in my own work and team work. I am highly organised, a planner and I have learnt to work with a diverse number of individuals. The love for what I do doesn’t only come through my reposts but my love for creating an impact and reach and being part of CSR , CSI initiatives, women empowerment, communication, media. Being able to always know what is happening in the room, from your world trends, pop-culture lead me to  -Academia. I am a co-founder of Group 9 that first worked with Ster-Kinekor on their campaign of “Cinema Is Back” post-COVID. I enjoy keeping up with what’s happening around me especially in places I have not reached, therefor I am always aware,  knowledgeable and can always blend in anywhere  and with anyone.

Latest Experience

Recently I was part of the Vega Brand Challenge that is done in your third year  or honours year. It was the second time I got to actually performa and apply my theory to an actual client who  wanted assistance on their brand. I was grouped with a diverse number of individuals, who come from different walks of life across South Africa. Our client was a Non-profit organisation  Rhino Conservation Fund, that need us to expand their NGO into the local market and international market. Which meant, recommending some suggestions from brand identity, potential clients, how to make their mark through the different channels  that can be used to give reach and impact. This experience was one to certainly remember , learnt alot from my team , but also in that I saw that working in a team is never a bad thing, we just need to learn to communicate all the time, and the importance of mental health, as well as working under pressure. I presented on one panel presentation as well as the final presentation, where I got to learn a few presentation skills from my team and the panel feedback  I worked on the roll-out plan, content plan as well as contributed to the big idea for the brand and rationale we could potential use, no idea was turned down but used as a lead to the end idea. Playing the role as a corporate communicator as my previous study then working towards my honours in Strategic Brand Communication, all that knowledge certainly did help with conceptualising what the client requested. Which I believe I am capable to apply with any other brand given to me.
